Patient Testimonials
:

I had numbness running down my left leg for about two weeks.  My sister had just started chiropractic treatments and recommended Dr. Leber.  I was able to make an appointment right away and felt much better after only one treatment. Dr. Leber took the time to explain everything he was going to do and also explained why he was doing it.  He found one leg was seriously shorter than another due to a misalignment of my hip which put pressure on a nerve.  I was totally at ease for the treatments because Dr. Leber had explained in layman's terms just what the cause of my problem was and how he was going to remedy the situation. I would strongly recommend Dr. Leber and wish him much success.

I am a 53 year old woman who has had severe back pain for two years. I went to my family doctor for help. I had an x-ray and was told that "it is a common problem with people my age. I should take aspirin and grin and bear it." I couldn't stop thinking about how old people talk about pain all the time and I wondered if I was going to morph into one of those people. One day last month as I was processing my junk mail in its usual trash bin, I came across a flyer from Dr. Jeffrey Leber, a chiropractor. I grew up hearing that chiropractor was synonymous with "chiro-quack-tor".  Misguided gullible people went to them, the poor souls! A good friend of mine (a registered nurse) has gone to a chiropractor for a number of years and swears by him. I was desperate. The pain at night would wake me up every time I turned over in bed. It was a sharp, knife-like, stabbing pain in my left hip and lower back. So I held my breath and gave it a try. Just 7 treatments later and what a difference. The stabbing pain has been reduced to a very bearable ache and I have other benefits that I didn't even expect. I can turn my neck much better and I know this sounds crazy, but I have more energy.  Dr. Leber tells me I'll get even better than I already am. He tells me that we both have to participate in the process. He uses the dreaded word "exercises" but don't worry, they are simple to do and what a difference they make in reducing pain.  I even told my family doctor about it and kind of cringed waiting for some negative comment, but she surprised me by saying that she supported me.

Dr. Leber, Thank you so very much for your kindness. It is uncommon these days to find people with a deep passion for their work, and to extend themselves to help others as you have helped me. I now have peace of mind and a new direction to head towards. I do not picture myself humped over in a wheel chair at 50 any longer thanks to you! Thank you again for all your kindness and generosity.

Several months ago I experienced a very sudden, severe and paralyzing pain across my lower back.  The very next morning, my wife contacted Dr. Leber who gave me an immediate appointment.  Dr. Leber diagnosed my problem and started a course of treatment for me, which helped tremendously.  Even though I was barely able to walk into Dr. Leber's office that morning, I was able to go to work after the appointment.  A further course of treatment made me feel better and better each week.  Dr. Leber even helped me diagnose a knee injury which I sustained and pointed me in the right direction so that I could obtain the proper treatment. Today, my back feels great and I live life with no restrictions.  I would highly recommend Dr. Leber to anyone experiencing back pain or discomfort.  He is sincere and truly cares about his patients.

I took my back x-rays for Dr. Leber to look at.  Well, you won't believe this but he found calcium deposits around my aorta.  He told me to go to my heart doctor.  When my heart doctor saw the x-rays, he was surprised that Dr. Leber found it.  He said he must be a very good chiropractor to find that.  I had a stress test and some other heart tests done. I have had only four treatments from Dr. Leber and I get out of bed easier every morning and I'm starting to take my walks again.  I have osteoporosis and have a lot of problems.  I have had a lot of surgeries but Dr. Leber has helped me more than any of them.  He is a gentleman as well as a doctor.  The way he talks to you makes you want to try even harder to get better.  I feel a lot better but still have a way to go.  I feel sure he will get me to better health.  I have been to several doctors and he is the only one to be on the right track.

As a patient beginning chiropractic for the first time, to say I was skeptical would be an understatement. After speaking with Dr. Leber for a brief period, I thought I would give it a try. My choices were chiropractic or a second round of steroid injections in my lower back. For the past two years I have suffered from chronic lower back pain. The pain was so bad, that at times it caused me to leave parties early. I was unable to walk for long periods of time without resting. I was also unable to stand in one spot for even short periods of time. Many times, the pain would be so bad that I would have to sit in a reclining chair after getting out of bed in the morning. It took about one month of treatment before my lower back began to feel better. After about two months, I can honestly say I made the correct choice to begin chiropractic care. Thanks to Dr. Leber, I now understand that the steroid injections were only masking the problem. With the use of a model spine, Dr. Leber was able to demonstrate how the bones in my spine were rubbing on each to create the pain. With continued treatment and exercises to strengthen my lower back muscles, I am looking forward to years of a pain-free lower back, without steroid injections.
